This fall UFOs keep popping up. I'd like to think that alien beings will just drop into my quilt room and finish them, but sadly, that hasn't happened yet. I am not sure what it is about the starting that just calls to me. Is it the new fabric? A new method of creating an old block? I am not sure.
The current count is 56. That number seems HUGE, but then I subtract the 20 plus tops that just need quilted and 36 doesn't seem so big. Except I have a longarm machine, so it falls on me to quilt them, so then I have to go back up to 56.
I think I will have to prioritize, determine which ones could be finished relatively quickly and move on from there. That will be my goal for the fall retreat. . .to determine which projects could become quilts in the least amount of time and maybe even get some quilting done. I could have a binding retreat and just tack binding down. . .NO WAY! I will sew, sew, sew and work to finish, finish, finish!
