I spent Spring Break at the SQUEELS (Scrapbookers Quilters Unlimited Eating Eating Laughing Society) sewfest. Two and a half days of good food, good friends, some laughter, some tears, and a finished quilt top, back, and binding. The unusual twist for the quilt is that I went home on Saturday, cleaned the sewing area, unloaded the retreat supplies and collapsed into bed. On Sunday, I actually ran the top through the longarm machine. It now has its binding on it and is just waiting for me to have some time to tack it down.
I also have a customer quilt ready to just tack the binding down on as well. I have a church meeting Wednesday night after a day of waiting in doctor's offices, so maybe both bindings will get done. That would be two projects off the UFO list!
